Our In-House Dream Weaver

Based in New York and with F1S for eight years, many of Mayla’s favorite travel experiences from her more than 14 years in the industry have come with amazing views—think star gazing in the Sahara Desert, ballooning over the Valley of the Kings in Egypt and showing her young son the ocean in the Bahamas. When Mayla isn’t shuttling her son to his Portuguese lessons (#momlife), you’ll find her mastering the fine art of capoeira.

“My travel philosophy is: everywhere, anywhere. I want to travel everywhere and I love to visit off-the-beaten-path places. I want to visit as many countries as I can—and share my insights with our clients.”

Meet & Greet

I can’t travel without:
My phone. I don’t travel with a camera, so my phone is where I take all my pictures and stay connected with family and clients
An idyllic place to live would be:
Brazil
My favorite meal:
Geng Kheaw Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken)
Next up on my must-visit list:
Turkey, Maldives, Cuba and Costa Rica—it doesn't matter the order
Something you don’t know about me:
I danced professionally during my high school years and I’ve always dreamed of being a dance teacher
