    Booking a Sold-out Hotel in Machu Picchu

    Machu Picchu is, hands down, one of the most amazing places in the world. The sacred Inca city is remote and mystical and was also the place a client chose to celebrate a milestone birthday. The catch: Only one hotel sits atop the mountain, and with just 31 rooms, it is nearly impossible to book. As suspected, it was completely sold out when we started planning the trip six weeks in advance. But we weren’t about to let it go. We knew our client had to witness the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, when the grounds were completely untouched. For weeks, we worked closely with the property’s management. And four weeks before our client was set to leave, we gave the client an early birthday gift: a confirmed room. Our client had the trip of a lifetime—and we were happy to do our part to make that dream come true.

    Creating the Perfect Proposal in the Gobi Desert

    When a client came to us with the hope to surprise the love of his life with a proposal in Mongolia, her dream destination, we couldn’t wait to start planning. In the Gobi Desert, you’ll find the Flaming Cliffs, whose surreal orange glow make for one of the most ethereal places on earth—especially atop a ledge, at sunset. It’s a moment you want to capture for a lifetime; it’s the perfect moment for a proposal. We knew every detail had to be flawless, as well as remain a secret. And that included the private candlelight dinner waiting for the newly engaged couple at the base of the cliffs. She was speechless—and he was the happiest man in the world.
