Opened in July 2021, this new, eco-minded resort brings together well-appointed rooms, a live music venue, organic dining options and plenty of wellness opportunities—from the spa and infinity pool to forthcoming, multi-day retreats—to create something truly spectacular on the Spanish island of Ibiza.
Situated on the northern coast of this Balearic island, the resort, which stretches over 20 acres, makes the most of its spot on Xarraca Bay, with breathtaking views of the cliffs and the sea beyond and plenty of room to truly enjoy not only the unique location but everything on offer as well. Private car service for two can be arranged to make the 35 minute trip from the airport, or for groups of up to 5, you can opt for the resort’s electric Mercedes van. The rest of the island is accessible as well, including the quaint village of San Juan, with the town of Ibiza about a half-hour away.
This well-styled, eco-minded resort takes sustainability seriously: It’s the only BREEAM–certified resort in the Balearics, they use geothermal cooling systems, and solar panels cover a percentage of their electricity use. You’ll find natural elements throughout, from the use of neutral colors, woods, and textures to the contemporary furnishings, all of which add to the chic, understated lux vibe. As far as rooms go, there are 116 different accommodations, including deluxe rooms, suites with private terraces, and multi-bedroom, perfect-for-families townhouses, which come with their own pool and private garden areas. For something a little different, go for one of the beachfront cave suites: 2-person rooms with large terraces that are literally built right into the cliff.
There are so many elements that come together to make this resort truly stand out, from the live entertainment to the elevated dining experience. Let’s start with dining: The signature HaSalon at The Piazza, headed by Israeli chef Eyel Shani, is a must-visit for the Mediterranean fare with a local focus (including eggs from the resort’s chickens and produce from their nearby The Farm at Six Senses Ibiza, set on a 400-year-old estate). Then, there are plenty of other options, including the market stalls of The Farmer’s Market, the exclusive outdoor garden dining at The Orchard, and the detox-inspired drinks at the poolside Farmacy Bar. Ibiza is known for its party scene, and the Beach Caves channels that, with Live Cave, a venue for live music, as well as events and emerging artist sessions, along with creative drinks and traditional dishes like paella and tapas. Feeling inspired? Book the private recording studio, which is only accessed through the Cave Royale suite. On the wellness front, there’s plenty to choose from above and beyond a gym and spa (though there are those, too), including an outdoor boxing ring, Caldarium Bath, a yoga deck overlooking the water, and soon, immersive, multi-day wellness retreats. And while there’s definitely an intimate vibe to the resort, there’s plenty for families as well, including a kids club and a “Young Adults’ Lounge” designed specifically for the over-12 crowd. And of course, you can try your hand at experiences both on-site and off, include everything from scuba diving to walking tours.
If you book through F1S, you’ll receive a €100 food and beverage credit, breakfast included, and an upgrade if available.
